The Patriot at Barns of Rose Hill
This screening is part of our Forging a Nation Film Series, presented in partnership with the American Legion Lloyd Williams Post 41.
During the American Revolution, a reluctant widower is drawn into the fight for independence after British forces threaten his family. Starring Mel Gibson and Heath Ledger, this sweeping historical drama follows his transformation into an unlikely militia leader alongside his idealistic son, as the conflict between colonial forces and the British Army intensifies.
Presented as part of our celebration of VA250, this screening invites audiences to reflect on early American history and the nation’s formative conflicts, as interpreted through a cinematic lens.
Doors open at 1:30 PM, and the screening will begin at 2:00 PM. The runtime is 2 hr 45 min.
Tickets are $8 per person or $2.50 for service members and their families (contact us for a coupon code). Purchase tickets here or by calling (540) 955-2004.
