Baseball has stood as one of America’s favorite sports for nearly 200 years. What began in the streets and backyards with homemade equipment and improvised rules transformed into the national pastime by the late 20th century. Through artifacts and historic photographs, CCHA Executive Director Nathan Stalvey will explore the evolution of the sport throughout the 20th century, covering changes in bats, pitching techniques, playing styles, and the games we enjoy today.
