Life, Extended Exhibit at Barns of Rose Hill
Kristin Fiorvanti is a multidisciplinary artist and educator whose work spans painting, installation, film, and critical media. A Virginia native, she developed her practice across the United States and Europe, including formative study in Florence and Rome, where classical training informed a contemporary, inquiry-driven approach. Early recognition through scholarships and international awards supported her work as an artist, director, and production designer on independent and commissioned projects presented at festivals and across digital platforms worldwide. Her practice frequently examines reflection — emotional and perceptual — inviting viewers into moments of memory, introspection, and subtle psychological transition.
Guided by a growing interest in installation and interactive multimedia design, Kristin is expanding her work toward more immersive forms of storytelling, exploring themes of identity, transformation, and personal history through material experimentation. She has exhibited internationally and collaborated with film and media collectives in Italy, and currently teaches middle school art in Northern Virginia, where her creative practice extends into education, mentorship, and community engagement.
This exhibit is part of our Emerging Artist Month, which is supported by a grant from the Boxley-Fox Endowment Fund.
