Hungry For History – Clarke County Historical Association & Chilly Hollow Brewing Co.
The Clarke County Historical Association is partnering with Chilly Hollow Brewing on a special historic brew, Carter’s Gold, inspired by the ales enjoyed in the American colonies during the 18th century. This limited-release Dorset Golden Ale is crafted with English pale malts that were ground at the historic Burwell-Morgan Mill, creating a unique connection between Clarke County’s milling heritage and one of the beer styles commonly found in colonial taverns. Brewed with Virginia Chinook hops and featuring a 6% ABV, Carter’s Gold will be available on tap at Chilly Hollow Brewing throughout Hungry for History Week.
