Cider Tastings & Orchard Tours
Enjoy hard cider tastings from some of the region’s top cider makers, then step into the orchard for a guided walking tour at Mackintosh Fruit Farm in Berryville, Virginia. Guests can enjoy both indoor and outdoor tastings and enhance the experience by joining the optional orchard tour.
Guided walking tours will take place following an hour of cider tastings at 12:00 PM, 1:15 PM, and 2:30 PM. Tickets.
During the orchard tour, knowledgeable guides will share insights into the apple-growing process—from planting and pruning to managing temperature-sensitive blossoms. You’ll also learn about sustainable “green” practices used to protect the trees and promote healthy fruit production, along with tips on harvesting and more.
Both indoor and outdoor cider tastings, as well as the orchard tours, will be held at Mackintosh Fruit Farm. Please wear appropriate footwear for walking through the orchard.
