Watermelon Park & RV Campground
Come stay in one of the world’s most beautiful locations alongside the designated Virginia Scenic River, the Shenandoah River and 27 acres of heaven! Family owned and operated since 1939. Camping is open year round.
Watermelon Park & RV Campground offers 90 RV camping sites tucked into the foothills of the splendorous Blue Ridge Mountains and nestled along the naturally perserved Shenandoah River. While here, you and your family can reconnect by sitting around the campfire roasting s’mores, going fishing, tubing, swimming or even playing a game of volleyball! Sorry, no tent camping is available. All RV sites are equipped with a minimum of 50 amp service, clean & cold running water and a sanitation station on-site. Reserve your camping spot here.
Watermelon Park is open to the public (you do not have to be a camper) to enjoy tubing on the scenic Shenandoah River. Book your River Adventures here. Tubing is seasonal and it is best to check with Watermelon Park directly on dates and hours, but are usually are operating May – September. They will bus you up river and you float back to Watermelon Park, tickets include tubes and shuttle.
