Smith Meadows Farm
Smith Meadows Farm is a private 400 acre sustainable working farm with a farm store.
At Smith Meadows Farm, the circa 1824 Manor House can be rented for overnight accommodations through Airbnb.
The farm raise cattle, sheep, pigs and laying hens. The animals are handled humanely from the day that they are born. The cattle and sheep are 100% grass-fed and finished, meaning they are never given grain. Our free-range pigs and hens are always on pasture, and are supplemented with non-GMO wheat, barley, and corn. We use no antibiotics, growth hormones, or animal by-products. In addition, the pastures have not been chemically fertilized, or treated with pesticides or herbicides.
Smith Meadow is a living, working farm where animals are raised in as natural an environment as we can provide. Forrest Pritchard has worked years with his family and farm employees to create a system to rotate chickens, pigs, beef cattle, and sheep so that they are always on a fresh piece of pasture. When patrons visit the farm, they are always amazed at how beautiful it is, and how well the animals live.
