Serenity Farm Virginia
Serenity Farm is a farm animal sanctuary and rescue center. A Sanctuary Where People Heal Animals and Animals Heal People.
Private tours are available for individuals and groups of ten or less. The cost is $25 for adults and $10 for children. Tours are available by appointment online. March through December on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 1:00 pm. Each tour is booked for two hours.
Tours begin in the pastures with the animals where you can enjoy hands-on time with the donkeys, pigs, poultry, rabbits, horse, sheep, and goats. Great for homeschool learning and for children who prefer a small intimate farm animal experience.
It is recommended you wear closed shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. Petunia, our littlest pig, shows her affection by rubbing on your legs. When she greets you after rolling in the dirt it can be a bit messy.
After your guided tour you can relax in the wildlife habitat while the children play in the nature area that is set up with activities just for them. You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch or snack.
