Tours at Nimbus Farm introduce you to the wide variety of animals in our care.

We show you how to process fiber at every stage from harvest to finished product. Then we discuss alpaca husbandry and open the pasture to allow you and your group time to experience the alpacas up close. This includes the option to hand feed them.

*While alpacas are docile, majestic and inquisitive, they can also be unpredictable and may spit or reflex kick. Alpacas do not like the top of their head being touched or reached for.

We are a working fiber farm and are NOT a petting zoo, most of the alpacas are shy and while they love to eat from your hand and investigate you, they are not “cuddly” and prefer to keep a comfortable distance.

Depending on the season, during your tour you may be able to sample some of our home grown fruits and vegetables.

A picnic is also an option if you BYO items. (No glass or alcohol. NO FEEDING THE ALPACAS OUTSIDE FOOD.)
PLEASE take your trash with you, or use one of our available trash receptacles.  We ask that picnics be roughly 45 minutes to ensure other tours have the ability to use the picnic tables.
